For foreign currency, eentrepreneurs from United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan purchased auto petrol produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency. Businessman from Russia, UAE and Afghanistan purchased technical sulfur, liquefied gas and gasoline (SC “Turkmengas”). In addition, fine-grained potassium chloride (GC “Turkmenhimiya”) became the subject of transactions of entrepreneurs from the Russian Federation.
Moreover, one-piece dyed and jacquard terry products and cotton yarn were purchased for foreign currency. Purchasing countries are the Russian Federation, China, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan.
The total amount of transactions exceeded 22 million 929 thousand US dollars.
For national currency, businessmen from China, United Arab Emirates, Great Britain, Scotland, Qatar, India, Kazakhstan and Armenia purchased cotton yarn. Total amount of transactions has exceeded 38 million 903 thousand manats.
Local businessmen bought polypropylene, hand-made carpets and plastic products for a total amount of about 47 million manats for the domestic market.
