For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Russia, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan, Panama, Malta, Uzbekistan purchased diesel fuel, miüed paraffin slack wax, aviation and illuminating kerosene, diesel fuel and polyprophylene produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency. Businessman from Russia and Afghanistan purchased polyethylene and liquefied gas (SC “Turkmengas”).
Moreover, colorless sheet glass, one-colored and jacquard terry products, cotton fabrics and yarns, dried roots of licorice were purchased for foreign currency. Purchasing countries are Russia, the Çhina, United Arab Emirates,
Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and others. The total amount of transactions exceeded 48 million 273 thousand US dollars.
For national currency, businessmen from Russia, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Scotland, Pakistan, Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn. Total amount of transactions has exceeded 16 million 799 thousand manats.
Local businessmen bought polypropylene and hand-made carpets for a total amount of about 21 million manat for the domestic market.
