Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov Museum opened in a new residential complex in Ashgabat

The Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov Museum has created in the new residential complex of the Ministry of internal Affairs, built in the Choganly residential area in the North of Ashgabat. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of Turkmenistan. The head of state paid tribute to his father, an honorary veteran of the internal Affairs bodies, Lieutenant Colonel Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov, whose life and work path is now a good example for the young generation of Turkmen soldiers who are brought up in the spirit of patriotism and selfless service to the Motherland and native people, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.

The Museum contains archival materials, copies of various documents, certificates, including state awards and military ranks, and photographs.

In 1954, Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov was awarded the rank of Junior Lieutenant, in 1960 – Lieutenant, in 1963 – senior Lieutenant of the internal troops, in 1966 – captain of the internal troops, in 1970-major, in 1974 – Lieutenant Colonel of the internal troops.

The father of the President of the country awarded high state awards seven times over the years of service, and awarded the badge "for distinction in service in the internal troops". After completing his service in the internal Affairs bodies in 1982 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, he continued his career in various positions in the structural divisions of the Ministry of education of Turkmenistan.

The exhibition also includes pictures of cars and motorcycles used by the father of the leader of the nation during his service in the Ministry of internal Affairs.

Therefore, here you can see the official cars of the honorary veteran of the internal Affairs bodies Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov "GAZ-69A", which he drove in 1972-1975, “GAZ-21”, and "VAZ-2102", which he used in 1980-1982, "GAZ-69" and "RAF-997". Also presented with all the characteristics of the motorcycle "DNEPR-11", used in 1977-1996.

A separate stand contains photos Of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with his parents and from the family archive, as well as images describing the social activities of the head of state's father.

Next to the stands are poems by Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov. As you know, Myalikguly Aga's childhood was during the years of military hard times, at the same time he began to write poems that reflected his subtle, sensitive perception of the world around him and close people.

The collection of exhibits of this Museum also includes books By the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, including those dedicated to the national cultural heritage.

After reviewing the retrospective exhibition, the leader of the nation, giving instructions to the heads of the military and law enforcement agencies present, left a commemorative inscription in the Book of honorary guests.
