A concert dedicated to the anniversary of Chary Nurymov held in Ashgabat

On November 16, a concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the people's artist of Turkmenistan, composer Chary Nurymov held at the Mukams Palace Of the state cultural center of Turkmenistan.

The state Symphony orchestra conducted by Rasul Gylyjov performed the composer's best works. The concert was organized by the Ministry of culture of Turkmenistan together with the International organization of Turkic culture (TURKSOY) and was broadcast online.

Nurymov's works have performed for many years, and they are loved and popular not only in Turkmenistan, but also far beyond its borders. In addition, the current concert, which attended by musicians from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan and the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation via video link, serves as a clear example of this statement.

At the concert, the teacher of the Turkmen national Conservatory. Babaguly Goshayev performed "Concerto for trumpet and orchestra" by Maya Kulieva, Didar Yomudov, a musician of the State Symphony orchestra, performed "Gazelles" on the oboe, and Ashyr Ashyrov, a teacher of the Turkmen national Conservatory, play "Concerto for piano and orchestra".

The famous and beloved songs of the composer were also performed: "Armanym galdy" and "Nazlim uz mana" performed by the people's artist of Turkmenistan Atageldi Garyagdiev and "My friend Melegush" performed by the people's artist of Turkmenistan Atajan Berdyev.

- I am very encouraged by the fact that today's creative concert was held at a high organizational level. Chary Nurymov's works are regularly perform in different parts of the world. In the future, we plan to hold such concerts based on the works of composers Nury Halmamedov, Veli Muhadov, Rejep Rejepov, Danatar Hydyrov, as these melodies bring people together and reduce distances, "conductor Rasul Gylyjov told the “Turkmenistan” newspaper after the concert.
