A Boeing 777-200LR aircraft of “Turkmenistan” airlines delivered Turkmen citizens to Turkmenabat from Moscow's “Domodedovo” airport today, who were unable to return earlier due to the suspension of air traffic caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
In accordance with the recommendations of the world health organization (WHO), all citizens of Turkmenistan who arrived on a Charter flight from Russia will undergo a mandatory two-week quarantine.
Turkmenistan continues to work on the organization of export of its citizens abroad. Earlier, the government organized Charter flights to the Turkmenabat international airport from Turkey, Russia, Belarus and India for the return of Turkmen citizens who were unable to return earlier due to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. 120 citizens of Turkmenistan returned to their homeland by land from Uzbekistan.
In the near future, regular export of our compatriots from Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and the EU countries will be organized.
