Citizens of foreign countries have the opportunity to participate in the upcoming 2021 creative competition announced by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov among literary, cultural and artistic figures, Amateur young singers and gifted children for the award of the President of Turkmenistan "Türkmeniń Altyn asyry". This is stated in the decree of the head of state, signed today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The document prescribes "to ensure the participation of foreign citizens who have expressed a desire to participate in the competition."
The winners of the contest will be determined according to the established categories. Within its framework, it is planned to hold and complete in August-September 2021 a TV review of young Amateur singers “Yañlan, Diýarym!” and the competition among gifted children "Garaşsyzlygyń merjen däneleri", the information program "Watan" of the Turkmen television reported.
The competition for the award of the President of Turkmenistan "Türkmeniń Altyn asyry" is organized to mark the 30th anniversary of the country's independence and "in order to identify and select the most capable and talented creative workers".
It is planned to sum up the results of the competition for the Award of the President of Turkmenistan in September 2021.
Emphasizing the importance of the national competition "Türkmeniń Altyn asyry" and the creative competition of young talents held within its framework, the leader of the nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that it is necessary to expand the coverage of such events, involving more participants and new directions in them.
