Turkmenistan ranks first in terms of pipeline gas exports to China, “Interfax” reports, citing data from the Chinese customs.
Turkmenistan increased deliveries to 1.788 billion cubic meters or 78.3 million cubic meters per day. By June, deliveries increased by 7% in daily terms and exceeded the volume of deliveries even in February of this year, the report said.
Kazakhstan takes the second place. In third place came Russia's “Gazprom”, which in July delivered a record 379 million cubic meters of gas to China (12.2 million cubic meters per day), pushing Myanmar. Uzbekistan closes the list, which, however, increased deliveries in July by almost two-thirds compared to June.
