The final of the children's competition "Garaşsyzlygyń merjen däneleri" ("Pearls of independence") was held today in the Palace of Mukams of the state cultural center of Turkmenistan.
According to the state news Agency of Turkmenistan, the main goal of the national creative review is to identify gifted children, support their talent, and introduce the younger generation to the cultural values and musical traditions of our people.
The best of the best – 15 young artists who passed the selection stages of the show, became participants of the gala concert. In total, the contest brought together more than a thousand gifted children from all over the country.
The concert program was opened with the literary and musical composition "Turkmenistan-the homeland of Neutrality". In national costumes of the peoples of the world, the participants performed songs in their native and foreign languages. Each performance was accompanied by performances of choreographic groups and a thematic video sequence. A bright, emotionally rich composition set the tone for the subsequent numbers. Each appearance of the participants on stage was accompanied by an original performance.
Guests – participants of the "Mukam" violin ensemble, artists of the Turkmen state puppet theater, winner of the "Star of the year" youth music competition 2018 Myahri Pirguliyeva and the "Ruhubelent çagalar" choreographic team presented their creative gifts to the finalists and the audience.
Following the results of the presentations, the names of six winners of the competition were announced – representatives of each of the country's regions and the capital, who were awarded valuable prizes and diplomas on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan. All finalists of the creative review also received gifts on behalf of the head of state.
