A telephone conversation took place today between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Vice-President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister, Ruler of the Principality of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum. This is reported by the state news Agency of Turkmenistan.
After warmly congratulating each other on the upcoming “Gurban bayramy” holiday, the interlocutors started discussing the most important aspects of interstate cooperation. It was noted that the strengthening of diplomatic, economic and humanitarian ties between the two countries meets the political demand and interests of both sides. The head of Turkmenistan stressed that every effort will be made to ensure that the partnership with the UAE is long-term, trusting and effective. Taking this opportunity, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov thanked His Highness for his special attention and personal participation in strengthening fraternal relations between the States and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in all relevant areas.
The global problem that the coronavirus pandemic currently poses was also touched upon.
In conclusion, the parties addressed wishes of peace, well-being and further prosperity to the peoples of the two States.
