Since the beginning of the year, 4,277 tons of Dagestan food potatoes have been sent to Turkmenistan through the Makhachkala international commercial sea port for the first time, the website reports rusexporter.ru with a link to makhachkala.fruitinfo.ru.
The exported potatoes were checked by the Russian Federal service for veterinary and phytosanitary surveillance Administration for the Republic of Dagestan for compliance with the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country. The owners of the products received phytosanitary certificates allowing the export of potatoes outside the country.
In total, since the beginning of 2020, Dagestan has exported 32,443 tons of its potatoes.
