The first zoo hotel opened in Turkmenistan today. The complex for temporary keeping of animals was built next to the veterinary clinic in the city of Anau. The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of industry and construction Serdar Berdimuhamedov as the Chairman of the Association "Turkmen Alabai", the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
Many animal lovers, going on vacation or on a business trip, often face the problem of what to do during their absence with a pet. It is good when it is possible to attach it to family or friends who will provide it with the necessary attention and proper care. But this is not always possible. And that's where the owners come zoo hotels.
The temporary animal housing complex, or zoo hotel – is the first institution of its kind in Turkmenistan established at the state level. The complex is designed for overexposure of Pets: cats, dogs, birds, etc., as well as fish, for which an aquarium is provided.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov began his inspection of the interior of the building with a pet store located right at the entrance and attracting attention with bright exotic birds. Breeding of ornamental and songbirds is another additional specialty of this complex. In addition, the pet store offers a wide range of accessories for Pets, food and everything that can be useful for its maintenance.
The client's appeal begins with a veterinary primary examination, since the zoo is designed for absolutely healthy "guests". After a specialist checks the pet's condition and confirms its health, the animal is registered.
All the owner's wishes regarding walking, bathing, combing, feeding are recorded, for example, what kind of food his pet prefers. Here it is possible to register a dog for training and training by a dog handler. In short, all individual needs and wishes will be taken into account, including massage.
The hotel itself is divided into several zones. The first one is for birds (parrots, Canaries, songbirds). This is a specially equipped room with cages for temporary housing and breeding. A large aviary is set up for the Chicks, where they can learn to fly until they are on the wing.
Next to this room, there is a feed store for the preparation and storage of feed. There are racks for dry food, and a kitchen corner is equipped for cooking porridge, steamed grains and other "dishes" from the menu of different types of birds.
Then the area of cats and dogs begins. The dog hotel is designed for 32 rooms, including 20 large, "two – room" and 12 smaller ones. Two-room "apartments" consist of a covered and open sector, that is, the dog can go out through the door to fresh air, lie in the sun, without leaving the box.
Each enclosure has a wooden bed with a canvas waterproof mattress. It is possible to feed animals without entering the premises, if necessary. After all, dogs are different in character, and even without owners can be hostile to strangers, until they get used to it.
Naturally, all the necessary sanitation measures are observed in the aviaries. A large enclosure can contain two dogs, if, for example, they are used to living together, or a dog with puppies. There is also an office of a dog handler nearby. The project for the creation of the complex included the services of a Groomer-Barber for dogs. He has a separate room where the dogs will get haircuts and other procedures.
Next to the "beauty salon" there is a bathing room for dogs-a shower with a boiler. All rooms of the zoo are equipped with a system of enhanced ventilation, and in the corridors there are video surveillance cameras, so that the four-legged settlers are monitored around the clock.
For the maintenance of cats, a spacious room is allocated, in which there are 8 two-story boxes. But the principle of "settlement" here, unlike dogs, is different. The cages remain open, and the main part of the premises is occupied by a play area where furry Pets can have a lot of fun, climb, run, relax on soft comfortable beds, and anyone who wants to go to sleep in a favorite aviary.
That is, each "guest" is located where he wants, and not locked in a cage. This is a kind of kitty house of free content, which will help cats get better at home and not get bored when separated from their owner. It means that you feel good.
The well-being of Pets will also be taken care of by those employees of the complex, whose functions include affectionate communication with wards, caring for them and feeding them. The cat compartment has its own feed room, where you can prepare any food that the owners of the animal will order. Knowing the tastes of your pet, the owner can also bring food with them if the cat stays for a short period of stay in the hotel. If for a long time-the institution transfers, it to a new feeding system.
In the courtyard at the back of the building there is a cozy walking area for dogs – a Mini-Park where they can run in the fresh air. Adjacent to it is a fenced-off training area for more serious loads – an obstacle course designed for training and training animals.
It is almost identical to the one used to train and prepare service dogs. But the owners of many Pets monitor their good physical shape and activity.
The band consists of projectiles that dogs learn to jump over (a 1.5-meter-high barrier, a ring), walk on them, run (bars, a broken bridge, a crossbar, and a high bridge), and even crawl under them. Here you can also conduct sports competitions among dogs, which consist in high-speed overcoming of the obstacle course, - agility. This sport is based on good contact between a person and an animal, high-quality and deep training of the dog.
