The President of Turkmenistan held a visiting session of the state security Council

President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-chief of the country's Armed Forces, General of the army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a visiting session of the State Security Council during his working trip to the Balkan velayat.

According to the state news Agency of Turkmenistan, the meeting reviewed the results of the work carried out by the military and law enforcement agencies for four months of this year, as well as set tasks for the future.

Before the meeting, Supreme commander of the Armed Forces of the country got acquainted with the Navy, documenting with satisfaction that the sea shore independent neutral Turkmenistan in good hands, and high defenses, and combat strength of the Naval Forces of the country aims to increase the high spirit of the troops.

Noting the need to strengthen the status of the Caspian Sea as a sea of friendship and good-neighborliness, the head of state ordered to maintain peace and tranquility on the sea and land borders.

Then a visiting session of the State Security Council was held.

The first speaker was defense Minister B. Gundogdiev, who reported on the work carried out since the beginning of the year in military formations. There was information about the ongoing spring conscription of citizens for military service.

Underlining the importance of further modernizing the activities of these structures, the President of Turkmenistan identified re-equipping the Armed Forces with the latest types of military and special equipment as one of the urgent tasks in the field of national defense. In this regard, the emphasis was placed on the need to improve the combat skills of military personnel.

Noting that political and educational, educational, scientific and technical work should be combined in specialized educational institutions, the head of state addressed relevant instructions to the defense Minister.

Speaking then, Minister of internal Affairs M. Kakaev reported on the results of the accountable units for a specified period.

Focusing on the key vectors of the Ministry of internal Affairs, the Supreme Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the country Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov pointed out the importance of monitoring the state of Affairs in the services included in the Ministry's system.

The head of the Ministry of internal Affairs was given instructions to implement digital technologies and best practices in the protection of public order and improve the work of relevant structures on the ground.

Head of the State border service Sh. Durdyev reported on the activities carried out during the period under review, the modernization of buildings and structures of the border guard, the introduction of advanced equipment in the work of the Department.

Focusing on the need to further improve the conditions of service and life of border guards, increase their professionalism, the President of Turkmenistan instructed to keep under control the implementation of the tasks facing the Service.

Then the Prosecutor General B. Atdayev reported on the results of the work carried out in January-April to monitor the activities of ministries and industry departments, compliance with law and order in the country.

One of the important missions of the system's employees is to protect the constitutional rights of citizens, the President of Turkmenistan said, ordering regular measures to improve the level of legal literacy of Turkmen citizens.

Minister of national security G. Annaev reported to the head of state on the state of Affairs in the structural divisions.

After hearing the report, the Supreme Commander-in-chief of the country's Armed Forces emphasized the importance of coordinated interaction with other military and law enforcement agencies in protecting the constitutional order, ensuring public stability, and countering modern challenges.

In this context, the implementation of best practices in the relevant field, the study of the latest technological developments and their skillful application were identified as important requirements. At the same time, the head of Turkmenistan instructed to raise the level of professional skills and improve the political training of employees.

Chairman of the Supreme Court G. Hallyev reported on the results of activities for four months of the current year.

The employees of this sphere have a great responsibility, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed, focusing on the priority areas of work of this structure. The rights and freedoms of Turkmen citizens should be clearly and strictly observed when considering each individual case, the leader of the nation continued, ordering that legal proceedings be conducted in strict accordance with the current norms of national legislation and international law.

It is necessary to keep in mind the issues of ensuring an appropriate level of court sessions, the head of Turkmenistan stressed, addressing a number of specific instructions to the Chairman of the Supreme court.

Minister of justice B. Muhammedov reported on the work done since the beginning of the year on the development of legislation.

After hearing the report, the head of Turkmenistan drew attention to the need to Supplement the national legislative base with new, relevant to the spirit of the time, regulations, the detailed development of which should be carried out in close cooperation with the Mejlis and other structures.

Further, the Chairman of the State customs service M. Hudaykuliev reported on progress over the four months of the current year work.

In accordance with the cardinal reforms implemented in recent years, the tasks facing the structure are gaining new significance, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed. This institution is entrusted with such functions as promoting the expansion of foreign trade relations, ensuring the country's economic security, and observing the rule of law in this area, the head of state noted, addressing a number of instructions to the head of the Service.

Then the Chairman of the State migration service M. Gurdov reported on the work done in January-April to ensure the improvement of the activities of the Department entrusted to him.

Commenting on the report, Supreme commander of the Armed Forces said that among the priority vectors act to coordinate the activities of government agencies and other entities to regulate issues of migration, protection of national interests of Turkmenistan in this sphere.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Secretary of the state security Council Ch. Amanov reported on the activities of the supervised departments for January-April this year.

A separate topic of the report was the measures taken to strengthen the material and technical base of the security forces, organize their work in accordance with the requirements of the time, create conditions for improving the social level, as well as improve the professionalism of the military.

After hearing the report, the head of state named the strengthening of sovereignty, the constitutional system, territorial integrity, protection of the country's economic interests, and prevention of the penetration of global threats of our time among the top priorities.

Successfully implementing the defensive Military doctrine, our state will continue to pay priority attention to equipping all branches of the armed forces with advanced technical means, the President of Turkmenistan noted.

Summing up the meeting, the Turkmen leader noted that, along with the ongoing reforms in this area, measures will continue to be taken to improve the conditions of service and life of military personnel, as well as their families.
