The state Museum of the State cultural center of Turkmenistan hosted the conference "Historical roots of Akhal-Teke horses" and opened "Glorification of Paradise horses in art", dedicated to the national holiday of the Turkmen horse.
The exhibition presents documentary evidence of the development of horse breeding in the country. A special place is occupied by works of famous artists, including "Gaiduvsyz", "Turkmen horse", "Toychi" by I. Ishankuliyev, "Yanardag" by O. Mammetnurov, "Akhan", "Berkarar" by P. Gapanchayev. In addition, there are jewelry compositions with various images of Akhal-Teke horses.
The opening ceremony was attended by Director of the State Museum of the State cultural center of Turkmenistan, candidate of historical Sciences Ovezmukhammet Mammetnurov, honored worker of culture of Turkmenistan, poet Oguljemal Charyeva, editor of the newspaper "Turkmenistan" Akmurat Hojaniyazov, leading researcher of the national Institute of manuscripts of language and literature named after Makhtumkuli of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, candidate of Philology Tazegul Hapyzova, senior lecturer of the faculty of applied arts Department of art history State Academy of fine Arts of Turkmenistan, honored worker of culture of Turkmenistan Azat Annayev, teacher of the Turkmen State school of arts and culture of Jumaberdi Artykov, lecturer Turkmen State Institute of culture Toyly Charyev, lecturer at faculty of applied arts Department of art history State Academy of fine Arts of Turkmenistan Jeren Baltayeva.
