Today, as part of the world health day celebrated in Turkmenistan, head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Presidential Akhal-Teke equestrian complex.

Having visited the horse named “Gyratym”, the President brought him to the arena for training. “Gyratym” was willing to do a variety of commands, sensitively catching each sign.
The Turkmen leader pays special attention to the further growth of the world prestige of Akhal-Teke horses – the national pride and heritage of the Turkmen people. With the direct participation of the President, our country has become a center for international events to address the development of Akhal-Teke horse breeding.
Major foreign organizations engaged in breeding the Akhal-Teke breed of horses, well-known horse breeders, specialists in this industry come to the ancestral homeland of famous horses and discuss issues of breeding the breed, preserving its purity and spreading it around the world.
Having once played a major role in the fate of Turkmens, the Akhal-Teke horse – a phenomenon of national and world culture – still remains a symbol of striving for progress, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
