The meeting of the Turkmen-German working group was held in Ashgabat

The 9th meeting of the joint Turkmen-German working group was held in Ashgabat today, the website of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

The Turkmen delegation was headed by the Minister of trade and foreign economic relations of Turkmenistan and the German Deputy head of foreign policy Department of the Ministry of economic Affairs and energy Federal Republic of Germany.

During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation affecting various sectors of the economy were raised. The parties assessed the level of interaction between the business circles of Turkmenistan and Germany, and also made proposals for further expanding the prospects for cooperation and developing the investment climate in both countries.

The meeting participants reviewed current and upcoming projects in the oil and gas industry, Finance, and healthcare. Attention was also paid to the possibility of organizing programs to improve the skills of Turkmen specialists from different sectors of the economy. 

At the end of the meeting, there were meetings between representatives of national ministries, departments and a number of German companies specializing in construction materials, equipment for the food industry, agricultural machinery, turbine and pump technologies, electrical engineering, industrial communication and security systems.

During the meetings, such well-known companies as "Anton Ohlert GmbH & Co", "Basalt AG", "SICK", "Stäubli Bayreuth GmbH", "Textima Export Import GmbH", "MTS Mangal Transport & Shipping", "ZAB Zementtanlagenbau GmbH", "LEISTRITZ Extracts GmbH", "WILO SE", "Edison Technologies GmbH", "Gregori Weiser", and others presented their proposals.

A Memorandum of understanding was signed between the chamber of Commerce and industry of Turkmenistan and the company "COMMIT PROJECT PARTNERS GmbH" (Germany) during the meeting between the business circles of our country and Germany.
