The new year 2020 entered the life of the country with extraordinary vividness, giving all Turkmen citizens and especially children a cascade of joyful impressions, the festive marathon of which continues.
These days, the Turkmen capital appeared deliciously beautiful, dressed in a shining outfit of new year's illumination, which covered the streets, parks and squares with an openwork of millions of lights.
As always, the center of the main new year celebrations was the square in front of the cultural and entertainment center "Alem", where the Main Christmas tree of the country is installed.
Thanks to the efforts of decorators and designers, the square in front of the cultural and entertainment center "Alem" turned into a magical winter garden, where instead of snowfall and snowdrifts – neon decorations and electric huge snowflakes. The role of alleys is performed by arches and "tunnels" wrapped in shiny tinsel, and the heroes of fairy tales and mascots of the year made a festive retinue for the Main Christmas tree of the country, decorated with bright balls.
On the stage built on the square, a musical show is unfolding with the participation of popular pop soloists, recognized masters and rising stars, who have pleased the audience with creative dedications to the New year. Rhythmic vocal and choreographic compositions, lyrical and incendiary songs were presented.
The singer’s performances were accompanied by well-known dance groups. The concert lasted about two hours and ended with the song "Hosh geldin Taze Yyl" (Welcome, New year) performed by all the artists to the applause of the audience.
On behalf of all compatriots, the presenters address their congratulations to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the New year, the Year "Turkmenistan is the homeland of Neutrality", wishing happiness, health, longevity, success in achieving great goals for the sake of the country's prosperity and the well-being of the people.
Then the presenters announce the beginning of a traditional festive teleconference linking the Turkmen capital with the administrative centers of all velayats on this night.

The first to connect to the teleconference is the Akhal velayat: congratulations and poetic wishes are followed by a festive concert performance prepared by the artists for such a special occasion.
Then the Balkan velayat comes on video link. After sending greetings to compatriots from the residents of “Primorsky Krai”, its representatives showed their new year's number.
This is followed by the Dashoguz velayat. The Northern region is also rich in creative traditions and talents, which were demonstrated in the festive performance after congratulations and wishes.
The teleconference continued with greetings from the residents of Lebap, who congratulated their compatriots and the head of state on the New year, and artists of the Eastern region presented a song and dance composition.
It is the turn of the Mary velayat, and again congratulations, good wishes, poems and music sound from the screen online, artists sing and children dance.
The new year's teleconference ends with the capital of independent neutral Turkmenistan-the residents of Ashgabat, who filled the entire square in front of the cultural and entertainment center "Alem", wish their compatriots success, prosperity and happiness through the mouths of elders and schoolchildren in all cities and villages. They are supported by festive dedications by popular artists and dance ensembles.
Summarizing the new year's holiday greetings from the residents of the velayats and the capital, the presenters highlighted the main thing-the wishes of further prosperity of Turkmenistan, increasing the international authority of our country, so that the people lived in peace and unity.
In 2020, there is a lot of work to be done, because in order not to stop developing, you need to consolidate each passed success with even more significant achievements. We are also waiting for celebrations, including the anniversary of Turkmen neutrality. The country will become a venue for important forums and meetings with the participation of delegations from many countries.

Such fantastic "bouquets" were handed to each viewer of this show, which disappeared without a trace after a while in the air, but remained in the soul along with the hidden cherished dreams and desires.
And they will certainly come true! After all, the main thing that unites us all in our thoughts is the desire for good and creation, the joy of a peaceful and quiet life, faith in the future, which will open up new opportunities.
And after the salute died down, a big surprise for everyone was the song "Arzuw" ("dream"), the words of which were written by the head of state, and the music – his grandson Kerimguly Berdimuhamedov. Its premiere took place a year ago, and the song has since become a melodic symbol that all our good aspirations will come true, according to the state news Agency of Turkmenistan.
In the performance of the President of Turkmenistan, it sounded on new year's night as a parting word and the sincerest and kind wish to the people of the country.
