Films dedicated to the Victory Day took place in Ashgabat

The thematic screening of the films “Victory! One for all!”, dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the war of 1941-1945, was held in the capital’s Ashgabat cinema on May 10-12. the website “Turkmenistan: the golden age” reports.

Five significant works of the Soviet era, included in the golden fund of cinema, were presented to the attention of the audience.

The film review was opened by “No Death, Guys!” film of director Bulat Mansurov, made at the Turkmenfilm Studio. The festival films about war was continued with, piercing by emotional tension, the film “Leningraders - my children” from the Uzbekfilm Studio. They also showed the films "Only Old Men Are Going to Battle", staged by Leonid Bykov at the Dovzhenko Film Studios in Kiev, and the film "Father of a Soldier" by Rezo Chkheidze, shot at the Georgia-Film Studio based on real events. In conclusion, Leonid Bykov’s "One-Two, Soldiers Were Going..." picture was shown, shot at a film studio named after Alexander Dovzhenko.

Five piercing and dramatic film stories about wartime, about the fate of the young generation, whose right to a happy life was crossed out by the bloodiest war in the history of mankind - a tribute to the memory of the heroes of the Great Victory.
