Deputy Prime Minister B. Seidova reported on the procedure for the main events and opening of social and cultural facilities planned for April in Turkmenistan at a government meeting.

Various events and celebrations are planned for the coming month, including forums, exhibitions, creative meetings, educational events and competitions in honor of the 2026 motto "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan - the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses," the 35th anniversary of the sacred independence of the Fatherland, World Health Day, and the National Day of the Turkmen Horse.

The results of previously announced creative competitions will also be announced.

The International Exhibition and Conference "Turkmentravel – 2026" will be held in Ashgabat in April.

The National Musical Drama Theatre named after Magtymguly will host a festive concert by the Symphony Orchestra of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva.

In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal for the consideration of the head of state.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of proper preparation for the events to be held in April to mark World Health Day and the National Turkmen Horse Day. The head of state also instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure the proper organization of the groundbreaking and commissioning ceremonies for social and cultural facilities, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
