Samsung may stop selling its Galaxy Z TriFold foldable smartphone

Samsung is considering ending sales of its three-segment foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, according to SamMobile, citing Korean source Donga.

According to reports, the company is preparing to halt shipments of the device to the Korean market. The next batch of smartphones, which may go on sale in the coming days, is expected to be the last.

Sources also suggest similar developments in other markets, including the US, where the model was sold in limited quantities. If this information is confirmed, it would indicate the de facto end of production.

Samsung representatives previously indicated that development of a successor to the Galaxy Z TriFold was not underway. Given this, the potential end of sales could indicate a pause in the development of smartphones with a triple-folding form factor.

The Galaxy Z TriFold hit the market in late 2025. Positioned as an experimental flagship, the device was the most expensive smartphone in Samsung's lineup, retailing for 2900 USD in the US.
