Microsoft launched Copilot Health, a health management service

Microsoft has unveiled a new tool, Copilot Health, designed to monitor user health. The service will initially be available only in the US, according to Axios.

Copilot Health brings together medical records, test results, and data from wearable devices in one place. Specifically, it supports Oura and Fitbit devices, as well as over 50 other types of devices. Based on the collected information, the system generates personalized recommendations and, for example, helps users prepare questions before a doctor's appointment.

The service has access to data from over 50 thousand US medical institutions. Chats within Copilot Health are separate from standard Copilot chats and are protected by encryption.

Microsoft emphasized that the service is not a medical tool: it does not diagnose or prescribe treatment, but rather complements the patient-physician interaction. Initially, Copilot Health will be free and available in English to adult users in the US. The company plans to offer a paid service in the future. Those interested can already sign up for a waiting list.

Copilot Health's release comes amid increasing competition in the AI health tools sector. In January 2026, OpenAI unveiled a similar offering, ChatGPT Health. It also supports integration with third-party apps and the user's medical records.
