Faculty and specialists from Turkmen universities are participating in the British Council Partnership Summit, which is taking place in Tashkent from March 4 to 8. The event is part of the AELLCA project, an educational initiative to improve the quality of English language teaching in Central Asia.
Turkmenistan is represented at the forum by employees of two leading educational institutions in the country: the International University for Humanities and Development and the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.
The summit's agenda includes current English teaching methods, professional development tools for teachers, and mechanisms for deepening inter-university cooperation. Participants will hold seminars and experience-sharing sessions, which will lead to the launch of joint language projects.
Turkmenistan's participation in an event of this caliber opens opportunities for introducing innovative approaches that meet international standards into the national education system. Experts hope that the impetus generated by the summit will accelerate the integration of regional education systems.
