More than 200 foreign citizens from 16 countries entered Turkmenistan from neighboring Iran, the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
These arrivals included citizens of Central Asian states, China, Russia, the United States, Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and several other countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that in connection with the current situation in the Middle East, Turkmenistan, guided by the principles of humanism and mutual respect, and strictly observing its international obligations, is providing the necessary conditions for the passage of foreign citizens, automobile and rail transport across the Turkmen-Iranian border.
All international checkpoints on the state border are operating as usual, the department emphasized.
