Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the conversation, the parties discussed a wide range of bilateral issues, focusing on the practical implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as the schedule of upcoming contacts and joint events.

The foreign ministers emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts within multilateral forums, particularly the CIS and the Caspian states.

The ministers also exchanged congratulations on the professional holidays of the two countries' diplomatic services.
