On February 10, methodological and practical training sessions began for teachers in Turkmenistan as part of the professional development program "Creating and Managing a Student-Centered Educational Environment." The program was organized by the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education, the Laboratory for the Development of Individual Potential in Education at Moscow State Pedagogical University, and the Russian Federation's "Contribution to the Future" charitable foundation. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
Classes are held online and feature experts from the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
This program is 108 hours long and is conducted in two stages. The first stage is scheduled for February, and the second for March.
Participants will engage in a series of small-group practical sessions, where they and their colleagues from around the world will work together to complete various tasks to create and manage a student-centered learning environment.
It is expected that after completing international training, Turkmen teachers will learn to apply the methods and techniques of the "Creating and Managing a Student-Centered Educational Environment" program in their professional activities.
