On February 5, an online presentation by Austrian companies DIPROMED GMBH and SIGMAPAHARM ARZNEIMITTEL GMBH was held for specialists from the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, according to the website of the Turkmen-Austrian Society.

DIPROMED GMBH was represented by its director, Christian Eder. The company specializes in the production of rapid tests for drug detection, infectious disease diagnostics for viruses, tuberculosis, and other diseases. The company previously made deliveries to Turkmenistan in 2020 and 2024.

Bernhard Wittmann, Director of SIGMAPAHARM ARZNEIMITTEL GMBH, discussed the activities of the company, founded in Vienna in 1949. The company produces a wide range of pharmaceuticals, including respiratory and cardiovascular products, vitamins, and other medications. The company has been operating in the Turkmen market for several years.

Representatives of the Austrian-Turkmen Society, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Austria, and the Turkmen company Türkmen Senet also attended the event. Both Austrian companies expressed their willingness to further cooperate with Turkmenistan.
