Days of Turkmenistan Culture are planned for Russia in 2026. This was announced to journalists by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, who is on a working visit to Ashgabat.

Galuzin held talks with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Deputy Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov.

"We discussed in detail the possibilities for expanding cultural and humanitarian cooperation. A number of events are on the agenda, one of the key ones being the holding of Turkmenistan Culture Days in Russia this year," RIA Novosti quoted the diplomat as saying.

He also noted that the parties discussed projects to build an additional educational building for the joint Russian-Turkmen secondary school named after A.S. Pushkin in Ashgabat, a new building for the State Russian Drama Theater, and the establishment of a Russian-Turkmen University.
