A business meeting was held in the Armenian capital with representatives of government agencies and business circles from Turkmenistan and the Republic of Armenia, according to the Armenian Embassy in Turkmenistan.
The meeting was attended by companies specializing in the textile and food industries, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, transport and logistics, jewelry, and tourism.
Nerses Karamanukyan, Vice President of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Armenia; Begench Arazov, Board Member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan; and Edgar Zakaryan, Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, spoke at the opening ceremony. They discussed bilateral trade, opportunities for economic development, doing business in both countries, and attracting foreign investment.
Presentations on business and investment opportunities in Turkmenistan and Armenia were presented to event participants.
The business meeting included B2B negotiations, during which representatives of Turkmen and Armenian companies discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation.
