National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he reviewed the design drawings of the industrial facilities of the medical cluster and their locations, according to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The meeting, dedicated to accelerating the pace of work on the second phase of the Arkadag development project, was attended by executives from world-renowned companies, including Japan's Sumitomo Heavy Industries LTD and Sumitomo Heavy Industries Plastics Machinery, Korea's EM Korea Co. LTD and Korea Meditech Co. LTD, as well as representatives from the Turkmenbashy oil processing complex, the Kiyanly Polymer Plant, the country's Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the Garagum Economic Society, which is involved in the construction of a medical cluster and equipping manufacturing facilities, and the heads of Turkmenistan's embassies in Japan and the Republic of Korea.
Representatives of Japanese and Korean companies reported on the organization of regular deliveries of high-tech equipment for the medical cluster's production facilities. Strict quality and performance controls have been established for the supplied equipment. The heads of the foreign companies emphasized that this is the first time equipment of this level has been introduced in the Central Asian region and fully complies with international standards.
