Today, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Turkmenistan Bandaru Wilsonbabu.
The parties exchanged views on the further development of Turkmen-Indian relations in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Having discussed issues related to the organization of visits and meetings at the highest state level this year, the diplomats also considered the possibility of mutual visits between the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of Turkmenistan and the Republic of India.
The significance of the activities of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Indian Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation was noted, and the importance of holding its next meeting in the near future was emphasized.
During the meeting, draft documents planned for signing during upcoming meetings and visits were also reviewed, the source noted.
