Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and Pakistan's Ambassador to Ashgabat, Faryal Leghari, discussed preparations for high-level government visits planned for 2026, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The parties also discussed a wide range of issues in the context of further implementing joint measures to advance bilateral ties in the new year. They also reviewed a list of bilateral documents scheduled for signing this year.

Particular attention was paid to the preparation of the sixth meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Pakistani Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, political consultations at the level of the foreign ministers of the two countries, as well as the Turkmen-Pakistani Business Forum.
