Last week, 12 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. The total value of foreign exchange transactions exceeded 6 million 324 thousand USD.
Business representatives from Afghanistan used foreign currency to purchase urea produced at the processing facilities of the “Turkmenhimiya” State Concern.
Portland cement was also sold to Turkish businessmen for foreign currency.
Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased potassium chloride, technical sulfuric acid (“Turkmenhimiya” State Concern), and cotton fabric worth approximately 333 million manats for the domestic market, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
