In some regions of Turkmenistan, nighttime temperatures will drop to -8 degrees Celsius this week, according to a forecast from the Hydrometeorological Service published in today's issue of the Turkmenistan newspaper.

Ashgabat will see partly cloudy skies, with east-northwest winds ranging from 11-13 meters per second to 14-16 meters per second. Nighttime temperatures will range from -1 to -3 degrees Celsius to +3 to +5 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures from +6 to +8 degrees Celsius to +13 to +15 degrees Celsius.

The Balkan velayat will see partly cloudy skies, with rain expected later in the week. Winds will blow from the east to northwest at speeds ranging from 8-13 meters per second to 12-17 meters per second. Overnight temperatures will range from -3 to +2°C, and daytime highs from 12 to +17°C, with coastal areas seeing highs from 7 to +12°C.

In the Ahal velayat, partly cloudy skies will prevail, with winds shifting from east to northwest, ranging from 8-13 meters per second to 12-17 meters per second. Overnight temperatures will range from -4 to +1°C to +1 to +6°C, and daytime highs from +5 to +10°C to +13 to +18°C.

In the Mary velayat, partly cloudy skies will prevail, with winds shifting from northwest to southeast, ranging from 8-13 meters per second to 11-16 meters per second. Overnight temperatures will range from -4 to +1 to +3 to +8 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures from +4 to +9 to +13 to +18 degrees Celsius.

In the Lebap velayat, partly cloudy skies will prevail, with winds shifting from northwest to southeast at speeds ranging from 8-13 meters per second to 11-16 meters per second. Overnight temperatures will range from -3 to -8 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 2 to 7 degrees Celsius to 12 to 17 degrees Celsius.

In the Dashoguz velayat, partly cloudy skies will prevail, with rain expected later in the week. Winds will shift from southeast to northwest at speeds ranging from 7-12 meters per second to 11-16 meters per second. Nighttime temperatures will range from -3 to -8 degrees Celsius, with daytime lows ranging from -3 to +10 degrees Celsius.
