Yesterday, an awards ceremony for schoolchildren and students who won prizes at prestigious international Olympiads took place in Ashgabat, in the conference hall of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

The winners were awarded certificates of honor from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and commemorative gifts from the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization, reports Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

Teachers who prepared students for international competitions were also rewarded.

This ceremony complemented the large-scale events organized in anticipation of the upcoming New Year, which will be celebrated in the country under the motto "Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses."
