In 2025, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made 15 trips abroad, including state, official, and working visits. This was announced by Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov during the conference "International Year of Peace and Trust: Decisive Steps of Neutral Turkmenistan."

In his speech, Meredov noted that 2025 marked an important stage in the history of Turkmenistan, in strengthening its statehood, political, economic, and social development.

Throughout the year, hundreds of events dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust were held in Turkmenistan and abroad. High-level bilateral relations and reciprocal visits continued actively.

As the minister emphasized, the National Leader of the Turkmen People also visited nine countries. Thirty-one visits by foreign heads of state and government were organized to Turkmenistan.

According to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this clearly demonstrates the country's active foreign policy and the effective practical implementation of the fundamental principles of Turkmenistan's international cooperation with various countries around the world.
