A new gas well, Hazarly-2, has been commissioned in the Lebap velayat. It is located at the promising Hazarly site, near the Bovrideshik gas field, according to ussatnews.com.
The well marks the first production point at this site.
The new well's design capacity reaches 120 thousand cubic meters of natural gas per day, creating additional opportunities to increase production of environmentally friendly fuel, which is in demand both domestically and internationally.
Work here is being carried out by specialists from the “Lebapgazçykaryş” department, which is steadily improving its production performance.
Thus, over the 11 months, the gas production plan was fulfilled by more than 101%, with a volume of 8,516 billion cubic meters. By the end of the year, this figure is expected to reach 9,3 billion cubic meters. 28 039 tons of gas condensate were also produced, exceeding the planned level by 2 235 tons.
Meanwhile, natural gas exports exceeded the plan by almost 41%, reaching 1,38 billion cubic meters.
