Turkmenistan's national weightlifting team athletes Bunyat Rashidov and Ogulshat Amanova won six medals at the 10th Qatar International Weightlifting Cup, which is being held in Doha from December 19 to 27.
Bunyat Rashidov competed in the 67 kg weight category and brought home three medals for the team: gold in the snatch with a result of 145 kg, silver in the clean and jerk (169 kg), and gold in the combined total (314 kg).
Ogulshat Amanova won three bronze medals in the 45 kg weight category: in the snatch (77 kg), clean and jerk (93 kg), and combined total (170 kg).
The Qatar Cup brings together three prestigious competitions: the 10th Qatar International Weightlifting Cup 2025, the Arab Weightlifting Championships (Youth, Junior, and Senior), and the West Asian Weightlifting Championships.
