The Christmas Book Fair took place on December 20 at the European Union Delegation in Ashgabat. The capital's largest bookstores gathered in one venue, offering visitors a wide selection of literature. Traditional Christmas music and treats created a festive atmosphere.
As reported by Turkmenistan: Golden Age, the bookcrossing (book exchange) zone was particularly popular, promoting cultural development, environmental education, and lively communication between readers.
Young visitors were treated to a meeting with Father Frost, who held a New Year's quiz.
Various master classes were also held for children, and an interactive Father Frost "post office" station was set up.
The organizers emphasized that such initiatives play an important role in strengthening international cultural dialogue and promoting reading traditions among the population.
