The visa waiver agreement between Russia and Jordan, signed in August 2025, has entered into force, vc.ru reports.
According to the new rules, Russian citizens can enter and stay in Jordan visa-free for up to 30 days per visit. The total length of stay must not exceed 90 days in a calendar year.
To enter, you will need a passport valid for at least six months upon crossing the border.
Previously, Russians applied for a visa upon arrival at the airport or through the Jordanian Ministry of Interior website. A single-entry visa was valid for one month and cost 40 dinars (approximately 4498 rubles at the exchange rate as of December 13, 2025). Double-entry, multiple-entry, and long-term visas were also available, valid for six months, one year, and five years.
