Today, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the presentation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's new book, "Turkmenistan's Neutrality: A Bright Path to Peace and Trust," the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
The book emphasizes the importance of the country's permanent neutrality, recognized three times by the UN General Assembly, and also extensively covers historic initiatives aimed at ensuring global peace and trust.
The work consists of 9 chapters, which pay special attention to the milestones in the development of Turkmen neutrality and its importance in ensuring global peace, security and sustainable development.
The final section of the book, "International Year of Peace and Trust: Historical Documents, Congratulations, and Speeches," devotes significant space to the relations the country has established during its years of neutrality, the speeches of the President of Turkmenistan at international forums, and international agreements concluded on a bilateral and multilateral basis.
As noted in the publication, approximately 30 documents have been signed with UN agencies operating in the country, related to cooperation in areas such as maternal and child health, women's health, pediatrics, education, and social services for children. Work is underway to ensure their successful implementation.
Published with high-quality printing, the book is available to the general public in three languages: Turkmen, English, and Russian. Considerable attention was paid to its artistic design, the source notes.
