On November 26, 2025, Turkmenistan's Ambassador Aymurad Gochmyradov met with Tajikistan's Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma. The talks focused on bilateral cooperation in the energy sector and the development of regional water and energy partnerships, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tajikistan reported to Turkmenportal.

The parties noted that the friendly relations between the two countries' leaderships are helping to elevate Turkmen-Tajik cooperation to a qualitatively new level. According to the meeting participants, this creates a favorable foundation for expanding interaction and exploring new areas of partnership.

During the talks, key aspects of strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan in the energy sector were discussed.
