On November 26, ceremonies were held to hand over archaeological finds to the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan and the Arkadag Museum of History and Local Lore.
The significance of the event increased due to the fact that, within the framework of the celebration of the country's 30th anniversary of neutrality, these museums hosted exhibitions dedicated to the history of Turkmenistan, as reported by the newspaper "Turkmenistan."
The donated valuables include more than 300 archaeological finds discovered over the years at world-famous sites such as Ancient Nisa, Altyndepe, Namazgadepe, Yilgynlydepe, Garadepe, Paryzdepe, and other ancient settlements in the Ahal velayat. These finds include a horse figurine, ceramic pottery, a metal ladder, an arrowhead, tools, and more.
Archaeological finds from the ancient period were also donated to museums. For example, a silver coin depicting Alexander the Great, found near the Pulkhati architectural monument in Sarakhs etrap, may reveal some information about the legendary commander's campaign, experts believe.
