Yesterday, on the sidelines of the World Conference on the Chinese Language, a Turkmen delegation met with the leadership of Beijing International Studies University (BISU). This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of science and education, signed between the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and BISU, opportunities for expanding the partnership were discussed, including academic exchanges, professional internships, the development of language programs, and the holding of joint scientific and cultural events.
The Turkmen side proposed expanding cooperation by exchanging experience in training Chinese language teachers, improving students' language skills, connecting them to digital learning platforms and AI-based resources, and organizing short-term internships and summer schools.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed interest in further developing educational ties between Turkmenistan and China, the source noted.
