Today, Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with Djibouti's Foreign Minister Mahmoud Ali Yusuf.
The two sides emphasized the importance of further expanding political, diplomatic, and economic ties between the two countries, according to the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The diplomats praised the current level of interaction between the two countries within the UN and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, emphasizing their shared views on strengthening peace and sustainable development.
They also exchanged views on preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, scheduled to be held in Ashgabat in December of this year.
