Delegates from Turkmenistan took part in the next meeting of the Consultative Council on Labor, Employment, and Social Protection of the Population of the CIS Member States, which was held in Tashkent.
The event was also attended by representatives from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the IPA CIS, the Interstate Statistical Committee, the General Confederation of Trade Unions, the Belarusian National Technical University, and the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth.
Priority agenda items include the further development of social and labor cooperation within the CIS, digital transformation in labor and employment, innovations in the processing and visualization of labor statistics data, a draft Comprehensive Program aimed at creating a common labor market and regulating labor migration among Commonwealth countries, and others, according to the CIS Executive Committee website.
The meeting participants also visited the Tashkent Department of Employment Promotion and Poverty Reduction and the Tashkent City Professional Skills Center, where they learned about practical experience in promoting employment.
