Vasily Tsereteli, President of the Russian Academy of Arts, sent a congratulatory message to the IX Moscow International Arts Festival "Sounds of the Dutar" named after Nury Halmamedov. The full text of the message is below.
"I cordially welcome the participants and guests of the IX Moscow International Arts Festival "Sounds of the Dutar" named after Nury Halmamedov, dedicated to the celebration of National Unity Day!
Historically, cultural exchange between peoples has provided fertile ground for the emergence and flourishing of artistic talent. An unbreakable connection with native roots, the careful preservation of traditions, and respect for the wisdom of generations are the cornerstones of unleashing the creative potential of young talents.
Your festival is a shining example of socially significant and spiritually educational work. In 2015, Zurab Konstantinovich Tsereteli, inspired by the project's noble mission, opened the doors of his gallery, offering it as a venue for its implementation. Over the years, Sounds of the Dutar has welcomed over a thousand young talents to its musical evenings, held at the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts. Many of them are now professional musicians, making a significant contribution to the development of Russian culture. Once again, the Zurab Tsereteli Art Gallery welcomes representatives of present and future art from around the world.
I thank the organizers, participants, and everyone who supports this important project. I wish you inspiration, new creative discoveries, and great achievements. I salute your creativity and your tireless work, and I believe in a bright future for art thanks to your talent and efforts."
