Russia and Turkmenistan have agreed to construct an additional building for the A.S. Pushkin Secondary School in Ashgabat. This was announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin during a regular meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between the two countries.
"We agreed today on the further development of the A.S. Pushkin Secondary School. I believe we'll begin construction soon, and we should open an additional building by 2027. We'll continue this development; we believe it's very important for us," Khusnullin noted.
The Deputy Prime Minister also emphasized the great prospects for cooperation between Russia and Turkmenistan in the field of sports.
The meeting of the intergovernmental commission took place on Monday in Ashgabat. It was chaired by the commission's co-chairs, Marat Khusnullin and Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyev.
