On October 8, the Turkmen Ambassador to Malaysia met with professors, teachers, and Turkmen and international students at Sunway University, according to the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting took place at the Turkmen Embassy.
During the meeting, Dean of the School of Commerce at Sunway University, Professor Emeritus Lim Weng Mark, emphasized that more than 250 students from Turkmenistan are currently studying at the university and expressed his intention to continue cooperation aimed at increasing this number in the future.
The Turkmen side expressed gratitude to the management and staff of Sunway University for the comprehensive support provided to Turkmen students studying in Malaysia.
Information was also presented on the declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust and on Turkmenistan's Concept of Activities and Priorities for the Year. In this regard, special attention was given to the holding of a major international forum dedicated to this significant date in Ashgabat this December.
