On October 6, a meeting was held in Rome between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Italian Republic, T. Komekov, and the Minister for Enterprises and Products "Made in Italy", Urso Adolfo.
The central topic of the talks was preparations for a business forum involving representatives of the two countries' business communities, scheduled for October of this year in Italy. Representatives of major private businesses, the public sector, financial and economic institutions from Turkmenistan and Italy, as well as executives from leading Italian companies, are expected to attend.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation within international organizations and developing trade and economic ties. Particular attention was paid to planning joint events with the participation of the heads of relevant ministries and agencies of both countries.
Following the talks, the diplomats exchanged wishes for peace and prosperity for the peoples of Turkmenistan and Italy, noting the importance of further developing partnerships between the states.
