Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a number of decrees on the appointment and dismissal of members of the country's diplomatic corps, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
According to a decree issued by the head of state, Muhammetgeldi Ayazov has been relieved of his duties as Turkmenistan's ambassador to Armenia and Lebanon "due to his transfer to another position." He has been appointed ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
Orazmuhammet Charyev has been relieved of his duties as Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, as well as his concurrent accreditation to Bahrain, Palestine, Jordan, Oman, and Egypt. He is also no longer Turkmenistan's Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Bayram Bayramov has been appointed Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the UAE (Abu Dhabi). The previous Ambassador, Serdarmammet Garajayev, has been relieved of his duties as Ambassador to the UAE, as well as his concurrent accreditation to Iraq and Kuwait.
