The national team of Turkmenistan in Jiu-Jitsu successfully completed the performance at the 20th Balkan open championship, which was held in Athens (Greece) from September 11 to 14.
In the final days of the championship (September 13-14), Turkmen jitsers showed excellent training in various disciplines. In the “NOT VAZA” category, Soltanmyrat Nuryev (62 kg), Shyhberdy Rahmanov (69 kg), Bagtyyar Myradov (77 kg) and Rahat Kurbanov (85 kg in the group of the group) won the gold medals.
The Silver winners in the discipline "not a vase" became Alyshir Jumamyradov (62 kg), Yslam Ovezov (69 kg) and Eziz Yollyev (85 kg). The bronze awards received Yslam Rejepov (62 kg), Dayanch Kullyev (69 kg) and Annagurt Amanmyradov (77 kg).
In the discipline “no gi”, the champions became Yslam Rejepov (62 kg) and Yslam Ovezov (69 kg). Suleiman Nuryev (62 kg), Dayanch Kullyev (69 kg) and Eziz Olelyev (85 kg) won silver. The bronze medalists were Soltanmrat Nuryev (62 kg), Shyhberdi Rahmanov (69 kg), Oguldursyn Azimov and Annagurt Amanmiradov (85 kg).
According to the results of the entire tournament, Turkmen athletes won 38 medals: 14 gold, 12 silver and 14 bronze awards.
